2010 World Cup : England vs USA , Goals And Highlights

An awful error from goalkeeper Robert Green made the Three Lions only got one point from they first 2010 World Cup Finals against United States.
The England team started the match with an early goal from skipper Steven Gerrard on 4hth minute.The goal came after Glen Johnson’s throw in that found Frank Lampard.His pass founded striker Emile Heskey who quickly turned it to skipper Steven Gerrard and calmly controlled the ball and shot into the goal.

It was the fastest goal in 2010 World Cup Finals so far.After that goal,England played more attacking.Striker Wayne Rooney was closely marked by defender Oguchi Onyewu.
Winger James Milner was player to be booked.He was substituted with Shaun Wright Phillips 10 minutes just before half time.
United States goal came on 40th minute when Robert Green failed to save Client Dempsey’s shot.The left foot shot from Dempsey not even powerful but Green just let it rolled from his hand.Really a terrible error from a world class player.

On the second half,Ledley King was substituted with Jamie Carragher.There was a lot of chances for the two sites.USA’s golden chance came when striker Jozy Altidore’s shot was saved by Green and hitted the post.
England’s chance came to Wright Philipps when his shot from left wing easily saved by Tim Howard.
