2010 World Cup:Marquez Saved Mexico From The Bafana Bafana

South Africa played the first match of 2010 World Cup Finals against Mexico which was ended draw between them.Before the match start,there was opening ceremony in Johannesburg Stadium.The absent of Nelson Mandela maybe made the Bafana Bafana team not motivated.
The match started with equal strength between S.Africa and Mexico.Mexico early had a goal disallowed for offside when Carlos Vela headed from a corner.South Africa goal came on 55th minute after a superb through ball from Katlego Mphela that reached Tshabalala and he fired the first with his left foot.All the home team fans was cheering with they vuvuzela.

After the first goal ws scored,the match was even more interesting with the Africans and the Mexican playing counter attacking football.The mexicans scored the equalising goal came on 79th minute from defender Rafael Marquez.

South Africa’s next match is against Uruguay on 16th june at Pretoria while Mexico face France.
