Man Utd suffered their third lose of the season after heavily thrashed by Liverpool on Sunday at Anfield.Man Utd will also miss the service of Nani after he was ruled out of three matches.Nani suffered a horrible injury on his shin after a robust challenge from Carragher.

Man Utd went down on 34th minute when Luis Suarez turned into the box and beating Rafael, Carrick and Brown before shooting from the tightest of angles.

It was going in, but Kuyt slammed home from a yard, rather spoiling what would have been a sensational solo goal – not that anyone was worrying about that.

Nani was to blame for Liverpool’s second goal when his back header found Kuyt and scored the goal.

the third goal came on 65th minute when Suarez’s free-kick was spilled by the veteran Dutch No 1 and compatriot Kuyt followed up to bag his first Reds hat-trick – the three goals coming from a combined range of seven yards.\

Javier Hernandez, grabbed a consolation injury-time goal, heading in a cross from Ryan Giggs, who was setting a United record for the most League appearances – 607 – eclipsing Sir Bobby Charlton.

Chicharito, is going to be the main striker soon in Man Utd squad after showed a brilliant performance in the match against The Latics on Saturday.Man Utd went into this match with intention to get three points and go seven points clear with Arsenal.

Chicharito opened the account on 17th minute when Rooney played a slick one-two with Nani to give the Portuguese winger the space to cross to the near post from where Hernandez delivered a slick finish.

Wigan has few chances to equalises but can’t beat Van Der Sar.Nani came close to score the second goal but only hit the crossbar.

Anderson Out For Two Months

Posted on February 22nd, 2011 by by rio

Manchester United’s Brazilian midfield Andersonwill be out for up to two months following conflicting reports that the midfield has picked up either a knee or hamstring injury in the 1-0 victory over Crawley Town at the weekend.

Anderson suffered a serious injury at the start of 2010, when he damaged his cruciate ligaments in a league cup match against West Ham United at Old Trafford. United’s number eight has made 21 appearances for the club this season, scoring one goal against Valencia in the Champions League.

And this will come as a huge blow as United are short in midfield with Antonio Valencia, Owen Hargreaves and Ji-Sung Park all still crocked.

Manchester United’s Brazilian midfield Anderson is reportedly out for up to two months following conflicting reports that the midfield has picked up either a knee or hamstring injury in the 1-0 victory over Crawley Town at the weekend. Anderson was substituted at half time against Crawley and it looks almost certain that the industrious Brazilian will be out until the end of April – a real blow for a player who missed so much of last season and, reportedly, fell out with the manager. Anderson’s performances are split between most Reds. Some see him as a skillful, competitive midfielder who can operate deep and burst forward with great acceleration. On the other hand, Anderson has only notched up two goals in his time at Old Trafford, although the most hardened of supporters will also point to a crucial penalty in the 2008 European Cup final. Rio Ferdinand and Ji Sung Park are also set to miss the match on Wednesday against Marseilles.

Anderson can still succeed at United

I still believe Anderson can make it as a top player at Manchester United, although he needs to start dominating games and being a little more clinical in front of goal. Of course being a midfielder isn’t all about scoring goals, however with Anderson’s movement – you would think he should be getting on the score sheet more often.

Since his return to the first team against Valencia away (did play a few minutes against Liverpool and also played in the League Cup against Scunthorpe United) he has looked extremely promising in some games and demonstrated why Sir Alex Ferguson parted with a reported £17million to secure him from Porto in 2007. This lead to him being awarded a new long-term contract with the club. With the absence of Anderson, United will inevitably turn to Michael Carrick to provide a bit of craft in the middle of the park, with Darron Gibson waiting in reserve. It may also force Ferguson to play a 4-4-2 much more than he’d like with Scholes who is unlikely to be able to play every game. I still believe Anderson has a lot to offer at United, despite is lack of goals and assist this term. Don’t ask me why, I just do.

  1. I think he can succeed, these injuries aren’t going to help him though. While he might not have scored much, I have seen an improvement in his shooting ability since he returned. There’s been rumours his knee has been uncomfortable for a weeks now which might be the reason why he hasn’t been playing aswell as he was when he first came back.

  3. The guy is too injury prone. in fact we do not need a player who can’t go an entire season or at least three quarters of a season. lets face it he is a good player but we haven’t gotten much out of him. If we get Modrich and Rodwell or De Rossi next season then we surely can get a few millions out of this guy.

  4. I still believe this kid can do whatever he wants in football, but has had a stop start career with us partially through injuries and partially to do with attitude. He offers something that the other CM don’t in that he will carry the ball and maraud forward when space opens up. He always looks to pass the ball forwards and is not afraid to hold onto it under pressure and wait for an opening unlike Carrick & Gibson who will pass the ball backwards far too quickly & IMO put undue pressure on the defenders. He is aggresive with bags of pace but his stamina levels do need to improve. I think we will miss him while he was out as his allround ability makes him a perfect foil for Scholes, Fletcher, and Carrick. His mobility fits well in our 442 system where as we can look a little flat when we play with 2 from the other 4 Gibson Scholes & Carrick tend to sit a little deep and are static, Fletcher this year seems to do a lot of running around with very litle to show for it.

Man Utd 1 – 0 Crawley Town

Posted on February 20th, 2011 by by rio

The Red Revils are into the Sixth Round of FA Cup after beating CrawleyTtown by 1-0.Sir Alex made nine changes by putting reserve team’s Joshua King,Pogba and Tunnicliffe on bench.Wes Brown was the captain in this match.

the match was very interesting with two teams attacking and defending.United got into their stride in the 28th minute when Darron Gibson’s incisive pass found Javier Hernandez but the Mexican wanted too much time and David Hunt scrambled back to clear.

But from the resulting corner, Gibson whipped in a dangerous cross that an unmarked Brown flicked in beyond Michael Kuipers.

Rooney came on at half time but United took their foot off the gas as they failed to create any decent opportunities in the whole.

Manchester United  face losing Park Ji-sung for up to four weeks after he tweaked a hamstring in training yesterday.

The 29-year-old South Korean has only just returned following his involvement in the Asia Cup.

Park, who picked up his 100th cap against Japan, has since retired from international football to concentrate on his United career.

Defender Jonny Evans has had a scan on an ankle injury and could be out for a month also.

Man Utd 2 – 1 Man City

Posted on February 14th, 2011 by by rio

Rooney made Man City silent after he scored a wonderful bicycle kick goal to give Man Utd a 2-1 win. This mean that Man City are now eight points behind Man Utd.

Man Utd took the lead five minutes before the interval when Wayne Rooney just got in front of Joleon Lescott to reach Edwin van der Sar’s long punt downfield and helped the ball on to Ryan Giggs.

Ryan Giggs wasted no time in pushing the ball on to Nani, whose first touch took him away from Pablo Zabaleta allowing him to race forwards and beat Joe Hart with a clinical finish. It was Nani’s 10th goals of the season.
