It would be sad to see Van Der Sar leave but at 39, I guess it was pretty inevitable. Has this definitely been confirmed? United are consistently linked with players but one positioning they will definitely be strengthening is goalkeeper. Anders Lindegaard confirmed last week that United are in for him, although I don’t know a don’t know a huge amount about him.
